How to Send Us Your Work:
When it comes to submission we only accept ones that are sent to us electronically through our email: mailbox2anotherworld@gmail.com
We do not accept submissions through postal services or any other platform. This may change in the future. You may send us submission for our following categories: Short Stories, Prose, Poetry and Narrative Audio which is simply a recording of you writing piece that fits into any of the previous categories. Besides categories there are also genres to consider. Mailbox To Another World focuses on creative pieces that explores the genre of Fiction and the sections that fall under its umbrella. Examples of these are: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Supernatural. Your submission must be in one of the following file forms: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .mp3, and .mp4. Otherwise it is a gamble on whether or not we will be able to access it.
When a piece is published within our magazine the author maintains ownership of their original work.

Formatting Your Submissions:
All submission should be 12-point font, with at least one-inch margins, and numbered pages. Short Stories and Prose should be double-spaced while Poetry should be single-spaced. The author’s name, and email address should be typed at the top of the first page. Please include along with your submissions a brief biographical note to introduce yourselves and tells us a little bit about who you are.
Timing:
Submissions may be sent to us at any time, year-round and will be reviewed. Themed and Seasonal submissions as well as other special collections will have their own deadlines.
Response Time:
Our response time can vary depending on availability and the amount of submissions received. Anywhere from one week to three weeks but it is not impossible to be reviewed earlier or later. So please be patient with us! There is not a lot of help out here in the space between worlds, we are a small team. However we promise we will get back to you as soon as possible. Someone always receives a signal.
Word Count Guidelines:
SHORT STORY
Short Stories must be at least 500 words and no more than 2,500 words in length unless absolutely necessary to get a few extra words in.
PROSE
Prose narrations must range between 3,000 and 10,000 words and be submitted with a synopsis of the work itself.
POETRY
Poetry submission may contain up to five poems. These poems should be submitted in a single file. We should be informed in this submission if the poems are separate or meant to be read as a collection. Different forms of poetry are accepted.
NARRATIVE AUDIO
Audio Submissions may be for any of our previous mentioned categories and be read in a storytelling form. These audios must be in a MP3 or MP4 format. Otherwise we cannot guarantee we will be able to access the files. The audio itself can be less than or up to ten minutes in length.
